Healthy and Creamy Chicken Korma – A Low-Calorie Diet

Chicken Korma is a very popular flavorful chicken curry made with cashew and almond paste, tomato puree, plenty of spices, and rich cream. Indian curries are very delicious and nutritious also. He named this recipe korma to pay a tribute to the warrior Rajput tribe “Kurma”.

Ingredients –

  • 500 gm chicken breast
  • 150 gm thick curd.
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp salt 
  • ½ tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp whipped cream
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • Garam Masala Powder

 Instruction :

  1. Heat a pan and add ½ tbsp butter in it.
  2. Once the butter is melted drop the chicken breast and fry until it turns golden brown.
  3. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté it well
  4. In a bowl, add 2 cups of water and pour the Creamy Chicken - Indian Simmer Sauce Mix.
  5. in the bowl, mix it well.
  6. Now pour the gravy into the pan and stir it constantly until it thickens.
  7. Add the beaten yogurt and salt, simmer the gravy for 5 minutes more.
  8. Sprinkle 1 tsp garam masala powder and stir the gravy.
  9. Add the whisked cream, let it set down.
  10. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot basmati rice or naan.

Tips for making perfect Chicken Korma:

  • Bony chickens are best because it absorbs the gravy and makes it delicious.
  • Marinating is not a must to cook this recipe and that is a good thing for you to save your precious time.
  • Must use yogurt and nut paste to make the gravy creamier.
