Grilled Kidney Beans Recipe

You can’t have a cookout without a side of beans! Kardec's better-than-canned version is cooked right on the grill, so there’s no need to stand over a hot stove.

    Grilled Kidney Beans Recipe

    • 1/2 cup- Sweet Yellow Onion
    • 1/2 cup- Green Bell Pepper
    • Oil- for cooking
    • Two 15.5-ounce- Red Kidney beans
    • Two 15.5-ounce- White Beans
    • One 15-ounce- Tomato Sauce
    • 1/2 cup- ketchup  1/2 cup Ketchup
    • 1/4 cup- Brown Sugar
    • 1 tbsp- Yellow Mustard 
    • 1 tbsp- Apple Cider Vinegar
    • 1 tsp- Cayenne Pepper
    • 1 tsp- ALCO Red Chili Powder
    • 1  tsp- Curry Masala
    • 2 cloves- Garlic, Mince
    • For garnish (optional)- Green Onions


    • Preheat a grill for cooking at medium-high heat.
    • Place a skillet on the grill. Cook the onions and green peppers with some oil in the skillet for 3 to 4 minutes.
    • Add the beans, tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, cayenne, chili powder, smoked paprika, and garlic, and stir. 
    • Cook with the grill covered, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes. Garnish with green onions, if using.
