Tofu Stir Fry | Easy & Simple

This dish is so easy to make and so delicious! I love tofu stir fry! The key to making this dish is to get the tofu nice and crispy. I like to use a little bit of cornstarch to help with that. Then, you just throw in whatever veggies you like. I always use broccoli, carrots, and snow peas. But, you could use whatever you like or have on hand. This dish is so versatile and so healthy! I love to served it over rice or quinoa.

    It is a Mexican Recipe, Tofu Stir Fry, crispy tofu, and fresh spinach, sautéed in a garlic sesame sauce. So let's make it!

    Ingredients

     

    • Tofu - 350g
    • Oil - 1 tbsp.
    • Soy Sauce - 3 tbsp.
    • Garlic - Ginger Paste - 1 tsp
    • Green Onions - 1 small
    • Fresh Chili Paste - 1-2 tbsp.
    • Baby Spinach - 250g
    • Toasted Sesame Seeds - 2 tbsp.
    • ALCO Chaat Masala - 1 tsp.

    Method

    • First Prepare for serving time brown rice, Cauliflower rice Soba or rice, noodles, Quinoa (totally; optional). You can skip these steps.
    • Then cut the tofu into cubes. Then drain the tofu. And to squeeze out excess moisture, wrap each cube in a paper towel and pat dry, pressing down on the tofu lightly.
    • Now in a large nonstick pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Then add the tofu, and drizzle with 1 tbsp soy sauce, stirring every minute or so until the tofu is nicely colored on all sides cooked off about 10-12 min.
    • Then tofu becomes brown. Then add the green onion, ginger- garlic paste, chili paste, and the remaining 2 tbsp soy sauce. cook until fragrant, about 2 min.
    • Then, add spinach and cook spinach well. Then stir in the sesame seeds. Stir in the sesame oil. Then remove from the heat.
    • hen sprinkle the reserved green onions and chaat masala over the top. Then serve hot, with noodles, brown rice, or as you like.
