
Grilled Kidney Beans Recipe
You can’t have a cookout without a side of beans! Kardec's better-than-canned version is cooked right on the grill, so there’s no need to stand over a hot stove.

Ingredients

Sweet Yellow Onion | 1/2 cup |
Green Bell Pepper | 1/2 cup |
Oil | for cooking |
Red Kidney beans | Two 15.5-ounce |
White Beans | Two 15.5-ounce |
Tomato Sauce | One 15-ounce |
1/2 cup Ketchup | 1/2 cup ketchup |
Brown Sugar | 1/4 cup |
Yellow Mustard | 1 tbsp |
Apple Cider Vinegar | 1 tbsp |
Cayenne Pepper | 1 tsp |
ALCO Red Chili Powder | 1 tsp |
Curry Masala | 1 tsp |
Garlic, Minced | 2 cloves |
Green Onions | For garnish (optional) |

METHOD:
- Preheat a grill for cooking at medium-high heat.
- Place a skillet on the grill. Cook the onions and green peppers with some oil in the skillet for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add the beans, tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, cayenne, chili powder, smoked paprika and garlic and stir. Cook with the grill covered, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes. Garnish with green onions, if using.
