Avocado Masala Papdi Chaat

INGREDIENTS:

Puri:
 Ingredients Quantity
Rice Flour 1/4 cup
Whole Wheat Flour 1/4 cup
All purpose flour 1/4 cup
Water 5 tbsp.
Salt As needed
Oil for deep frying As needed

 Topping:

 Ingredients Quantity
ALCO Chaat Masala 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds roasted 1/2 tsp
Boondi Store-Bought 1/4 cup
Avocados (mashed) 3
Salt As needed
Lemon Juice 3 tsp 
Jalapeño (diced) 1/4
Onion (diced) 1/4 cup
Tomato (diced) 1

METHOD

Puri

  1. Combine rice flour, wheat flour, all purpose flour and salt. Add water little at a time and mix. Knead slowly to form a semi stiff dough. Divide the dough in equal parts.
  2. On a floured surface roll the dough in a thin circle with a rolling pin.
  3. With a cutter, cut out circles in the dough. Remove the extra dough and add it to the unused dough. Prick each puri with a fork.
  4. Gently slide 3 to 4 puris into the hot oil and fry till golden brown on both sides.
  5. Drain on absorbent paper. Repeat with the remaining dough.

Topping

  1. In a large bowl mix all the ingredients mentioned in the above list except boondi and keep it in a refrigerator for an hour or overnight which would be better.
  2. Add boondi just before serving and mix.

Assembly

  1. Fill a plate with puris. Top it with the avocado mixture.
  2. Pop in your mouth immediately.
  3. Enjoy.
