Indian Style Pasta Recipe

INGREDIENTS

 Ingredients Quantity
ALCO Garam Masala 1 1/2 tsp
ALCO Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp
ALCO Cumin Powder 1/2 tsp
ALCO Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
ALCO Red Chili Powder 1/2 tsp
Salt As needed
Pasta (any variety) 1/2 cup
Water 4 cups
Oil 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Green chilies 2
Ginger garlic paste (or minced) 2 tsp
Onions (finely chopped) 1/2 cup
Tomatoes (chopped fine) 1 cup
Green bell pepper (chopped) 1
Red bell pepper (chopped) 1
Carrots (peeled and chopped) 2
Cilantro leaves (chopped) 1/4 cup
Lemon juice 2 tsp


METHOD

Cooking Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of water to rolling boil.
  2. Add few drops of oil and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Mix well.
  3. Add the measured pasta and mix well.
  4. Once cooked, drain excess water after reserving around 1/4 cup pasta cooked water. Keep covered until use.

How To Make Masala Pasta

  1. Now once the veggies are well cooked, add the cooked pasta. Now add 2-3 tablespoons of pasta cooked water and mix well.
  2. Toss well, add chopped cilantro or coriander leaves and lemon juice. Adjust salt if required.
  3. Mix well and serve Indian style masala pasta hot.
