Instructions to Marinade Chicken
- Rinse chicken pieces with water and place them in a strainer to drain water.
- Place the chicken pieces on a plate. Using a sharp knife, cut the incisions on the portions. This aids the dressing in going all the way inside the chicken.
- Add yogurt, minced ginger - garlic, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, kasoori methi, and melted butter in a large bowl. Mix them together and make a smooth paste.
- Add chicken pieces to the marinade.
- Pour some marinade into the cuts and mix the chicken well in the marinade.
- Place it in the marinade bowl at a low temperature for at least 8 to 10 hours. Cover the bowl. The longer the meat is left in the marinade, the better; yogurt acts as a tenderizer. You can also marinate longer if you have time to cook the chicken.
- Thirty minutes before you are ready to cook, take the marinated chicken out of the fridge. Let it come to room temperature.
- Deep Fry, Shallow Fry, Roast, Microwave, or Skew those pieces to cook in Tandoor or Oven.
Marinated Chicken Pieces are ready.
