  • ¼ Tsp - Alco red chili powder
  • ¼ Tsp - Alco garam masala
  • ½ Tsp - Alco Coriander Powder
  • 2 Tbsp - Cooking oil
  • To Taste - Salt
  • 2 Tbsp - Coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Heat a pan; add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
  • Add the chopped onions now, and saute til brown.
  • Add the curry leaves, green chili, and saute for 30 seconds.
  • Add the tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
  • Add Alco red chili powder, garam masala, coriander powder, and salt.
  • Add cooked rice to the pan. Mix the ingredients well.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves over the top.
  • Serve hot with curd or pickle.

  • ¼  Cup - Chole
  • 1 Cup - Basmati rice
  • 1 - Onion (sliced)
  • 1 - Tomato (chopped)
  • ½ Tsp - Caraway seeds
  • 1 - Black cardamom
  • 2 - Mace strands
  • 1 - Bay leaf
  • 2-3 - Cloves
  • 1-inch - Cinnamon stick
  • 1 Tbsp - Ginger-garlic paste
  • ¼ Tsp - Alco red chili powder
  • ¼ Tsp - Alco Garam Masala
  • 1 Pinch - Alco Turmeric powder
  • ½ Tsp - Lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp - Ghee/oil
  • 2 Cup - Of Water
  • 1 Tbsp - Coriander leaves
  • To Taste - Salt
  • ½ Tsp - Caraway seeds
  • 1 - Black cardamom
  • 2 - Mace strands
  • 1 - Bay leaf
  • 2-3 - Cloves
  • 1-inch - Cinnamon stick

Instructions

  • Soak chickpeas overnight with water.
  • Pressure cook the soaked chickpeas with salt for 3-4 whistles until they become soft.
  • Drain the water from the chickpeas and keep them aside.
  • Wash and drain the rice and soak them for 30 Minutes.
  • Add ghee/oil and whole spices like caraway, black cardamom, mace, bay leaf, cloves, and cinnamon sticks in a pressure cooker.
  • Fry the whole spices until they become aromatic.
  • Add the onions, and saute till golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and chopped tomatoes.
  • Add Alco turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala powder.
  • Saute for some time and add rice. Mix the ingredients well.
  • Add cooked chana to the cooker, and add lemon juice to it.
  • Add half a cup of water and add salt.
  • Pressure cook the ingredients well for 2-3 whistles.
  • Oven the cooker's lid and gently give fluff to the rice.
  • Garnish with mint leaves and coriander leaves.
  • Serve this rice chole recipe with curd and pickles.

  • 1 - Medium capsicum (chopped)

  • Rinse the basmati rice well, and soak for 30 minutes.
  • Add water to the pressure cooker, oil, and soaked basmati rice.
  • Pressure cook the rice for two whistles.
  • Heat a wok, and add oil.
  • Add garlic, fry them in a low heat until brown.
  • Keep one teaspoon of garlic aside.
  • Add beans, capsicum, and green onions.
  • Add crushed black pepper powder and add cooked rice.
  • Mix the veggies with the rice.
  • Add green onions over the top.
  • Turn off the flame and add the cooked garlic to the rice.

  • ½ Tsp - Lemon juice

  • 2 Tbsp - Chopped coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Soak kidney beans overnight by adding water to them.
  • Add the soaked rajma to a pressure cooker, and add water, cook up to 8-10 whistles.
  • Keep the cooked rajma aside.
  • Rinse the rice well and soak for 30 minutes.
  • Heat the pressure cooker, and add oil and whole spices mentioned in the ingredients.
  • let the spices become aromatic, add onions, and saute till golden brown.
  • Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies.
  • Add the cooked raja to the cooker.
  • Add Alco turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder.
  • Add the soaked rice and salt to the mixture lastly.
  • Add water as required to cook the rice well with other ingredients.
  • At last, add lemon juice to it.
