Sambar Masala

Sambar Masala is a spice blend used to make Sambar, a trendy vegetable and lentil soup from South India. The exceptional spice combination of Alco Sambar Powder is a blend of whole roasted spices like Hing, Bengal Gram, Black Gram, Cassia, Chilli, Common Salt, Coriander, Curry Leaf, Fenugreek Seeds, Jeera, Malic Acid, Pigeon Peat, Rice, and Tamarind powdered concurrently, and then haldi powder is mixed in them. All these whole spices (khada masala) are slowly dried-roasted to maintain the spice's flavourful, fragrant harmony, sweet, earthy notes, and a touch of floral undertones.

1. Boil lentils, onion, drumstick, pumpkin, brinjal, or other desired vegetables for 15-20 mins.
2. Add Tamarind Juice, Red Chili Powder, Salt, and Sambar Masala.
3. In a separate pan, heat the oil.
4. Temper Whole Red Chili, Fenugreek, Mustard Seeds, Curry Leaves, and Asafoetida.
5. Add the tempered spices to the soup.
