  • 1 Tsp- Red chili flakes

  • 1 ½ Tsp- Ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 Tsp- Cumin seeds
  • 2 Tbsp- Alco coriander powder
  • 1 Tbsp- Alco Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 2 Tsp- Alco red chili powder
  • ¼ Tsp- Alco turmeric powder
  • 2 Tsp- Alco garam masala
  • 1 Cup- Chopped tomatoes
  • ½ Cup- Tomato puree
  • ½ Cup- Coriander leaves
  • ¼ Cup- Hot water
  • 3 Tbsp- Heavy cream
  • To Taste- Salt


  • Take a heavy-bottomed pan, and add mustard oil and butter.
  • As mustard oil starts evaporating, add the whole spices-cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, and red chili flakes.
  • Add the chopped onions and cook until they become brown.
  • Add the ginger-garlic paste and chopped capsicum to the pan.
  • Stir continuously for 30 seconds.
  • Add cumin seeds and water for greater consistency.
  • Add all the ground spices- Alco coriander powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, and red chili powder.
  • Add the tomato puree and chopped tomatoes, and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Now, add the minced mint to the pan.
  • When meat gets mixed, add hot water to the pan.
  • Cook in low heat and stir at regular intervals.
  • Put the lid on the pan, and keep it in low flame.

  • 4 Cup- Cooked rice
  • 3 Tbsp- Lemon juice
  • To Taste- Salt
  • 2 Tbsp- Cooking oil

  • 3 Tbsp- Salted and roasted peanuts
  • ½ Tsp- Alco turmeric powder
  • 2- Green chilies
  • 8-10- Curry leaves
  • 1 ½ Tsp- Chana dal
  • 1 ½ Tsp- Urad dal
  • 1 Pinch- Hing


  • Heat a heavy-bottomed pan, and add oil to a low-medium flame.
  • Add mustard seeds, chana dal, and urad dal.
  • Saute them in low heat until they become aromatic.
  • Add green chilies and curry leaves to add extra flavor.
  • Add hing, Alco turmeric powder, and salt to the pan.
  • Add a little water and stir.
  • Add the cooked rice to the pan.
  • Keep the flame over the low heat continuously.
  • Transfer the cooked rice with the dal and spices to the plate.

  • Boil the eggs by adding water to the eggs and let them boil.
  • Peel the outer shell of the boiled eggs.
  • Pinch the fork to give holes to the boiled eggs to absorb masalas.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add the boiled eggs, and fry them until brown.
  • Take the fried eggs out of the hot pan.
  • Again heat oil in the pan.
  • Add mustard, cumin, bay leaf, and dry red chilies.
  • Let them splutter, add sliced onions, and saute until they become pinkish-brown.

Kadhi Recipe

  • 1 Cup- Sour curd
  • ¼ Cup- Besan (gram flour)
  • 3 Cups- Water
  • 2 Tbsp- Cooking oil
  • ¼ Tsp- Methi seeds
  • ½ Tsp- Cumin seeds
  • 1- dry red chilly
  • 2-3 Tbsp- Chopped onions
  • 1-2- Green chilies
  • 2 Tbsp- Ginger-garlic paste
  • ¼ Tsp- Alco turmeric powder
  • ¼ Tsp- Alco Kashmiri red chili powder
  • ½ Tsp- Alco coriander powder
  • ½ Tsp- Alco garam masala
  • 1 ½ Tsp- Chopped coriander leaves

For pakoras,

  • ¾ Cup- Besan
  • ¾ Cup- Onions
  • ½ Tsp- Ajwain
  • 1-2- Green chilies
  • ½ Tsp- Alco garam masala
  • 1/8 - Baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp- Coriander leaves
  • 4 Tbsp- Water
  • Oil for deep frying

For tempering,

  • 1 Tbsp- Ghee
  • ⅓ Tsp- Cumin seeds
  • 2-3- Dry red chilies
  • ⅛ Tsp- Hing


  • Add gram flour and curd in a large glass bowl.
  • Whisk the batter properly, and add water.
  • Add ghee to the pan, cumin seeds, and red chilies.
  • Add chopped onions and green chilies.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, Alco red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric, and garam masala.
  • Add the besan batter to the pan.
  • Keep stirring, and keep the flame low as soon as the mixture boils.
  • When kadhi is ready, add salt.
  • Add besan, onions, ajwain, and green chilies in a bowl.
  • Add Alco garam masala, baking soda, and coriander leaves to the mixture.
  • Add water to make a batter, and deep-fry in the hot oil.
  • Add ghee, cumin seeds, dry red chilies, and hing for tempering.
  • Mix the tempering, kadhi, and pakoras for a perfect kadhi recipe.
