  • ½ cup grated coconut.
  • 2 medium-sized onions (finely chopped).
  • 1 medium-sized tomato (finely chopped).
  • 1 carrot (cut in half-inch pieces).
  • ½ cup green peas.
  • 8-10 French beans (finely chopped).
  • 1 cup cauliflower florets.
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds.
  • 10-12 cashew nuts.
  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds.
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil.
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste.
  • 1 tsp cumin seed.
  • ½ tsp garam masala powder.
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder.
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing.


  1. Start the cooking process by adding grated coconut, fennel seeds, cashew nuts, and poppy seeds to the grinder. Add little water and make a fine and smooth paste.
  1. Take a pot and add 2 tbsp coconut oil.
  1. Once the oil is heated, add garam masala and cumin seeds.
  1. The seeds will soon start leaving an aroma, and then add chopped onions, and tomatoes. Fry them until the raw smell of onions goes away.
  1. Now add 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, and salt as per your taste. Cover the lid of the pot and let it get cooked well until the tomatoes become mushy.
  1. Add the coconut-cashew paste and mix well for 2-3 minutes.
  1. Now add the veggies to the pot, mix well with all spices.
  1. Add ½ cup water and stir it nicely.
  1. Cover the lid and cook the gravy on a medium flame for 10 minutes.
  1. Garnish with coriander leaves.
