This tasty vegan mac and cheese peas recipe is a classic comfort food. It’s full of cheesy goodness with some veggies snuck in for good measure. If your kids love tasty macaroni and cheese, this recipe will be a surefire hit with them!

The combination of pasta, Parmesan or Pecorino cheese, and frozen peas is one that you can almost always summon from the depths of your kitchen. It is said that you should always have cheese on hand, and Parmesan cheese is a hard, aged dairy product that can live happily in the fridge for a very, very long time. Always keep a box of parmesan cheese cubes in the fridge, whenever you feel like having this dish, but of course, it works with almost any kind of macaroni/pasta. And the frozen peas transform it from a bowl of boring beige and cheesy macaroni into a tasty mac n cheese that is also healthy!
